The Coonabarabran History Group is pleased to announce it has installed brass plaques to commemorate the following seven historical buildings:

Bank of NSW

Coonabarabran Post Office

Coonabarabran Shire Council Chambers

Crane’s building

Hotel Royal

Imperial Hotel

Neilson’s Store
Each plaque features a sketch drawing of the original building and a brief description based on detailed research conducted by the History Group.
The plaques have been installed in the footpath in front of each site. They have been set to ensure they do not constitute a trip hazard or impede pedestrian flows while visitors stop to read them.
